Process Makes Perfect
PHASE 1: INCEPTION
  • Initial client meeting. We sit down with the client to understand the size and scope of the project. We learn our clients’ tastes, project goals, timeline, and budget. By getting to know our clients we can meet—and exceed—their expectations. And if the client needs a referral for an architect or designer, Javier Rice Construction is happy to refer a number of experienced professionals.
  • Design Review and Value Engineering. This is what sets Javier Rice Construction apart from other contractors. We review all architectural designs and discuss the most cost-effective ways to translate the design vision into reality. We survey the project site to discuss excavation, code requirements, and identify potential construction challenges. After this careful review, we recommend refinements to the plan and drawings so that the project can be executed on time and within budget. If major design or structural changes are recommended, we meet with the designers or architects to discuss appropriate modifications to plans.
  • Introducing the extended team. Depending the size and scope of the project, we will introduce the client to lighting designers, landscape architects, interior designers, specialized tradesman, or other professionals that will meet a client's particular need.
  • Budget review and timeline. Before we submit our bid, we conduct one final project review to ensure that we're meeting all of the client's needs.
PHASE 2: CONSTRUCTION
Throughout the construction process we take the utmost care to ensure that you experience minimal disruption. We understand that it can be stressful when your home is under construction, so our team only leaves the job site once they have cleaned and contained their work areas.

PHASE 3: PROJECT COMPLETION
We believe that the last 5 percent is one of the most critical points of a project. During this time, you’re seeing your vision come alive and we want to make sure that vision exceeds your expectations. We conduct final walk-throughs with you and make sure you know that we're here should any future need arise.
